Here I am in my lonely sea

Trying to decide what I’m meant to be

With each wave and gust of breeze

Nothing puts my mind at ease

I ride the water’s restless wake

And my life I try to make

I wonder who I can really trust

Because some friends leave me in the dust

Some people that I thought were true

They let me down and made me blue

And left me in my lonely ocean

Hoping that I’ll get the notion

That they didn’t want me around

And this is where I should be found
