Paige: *venting to Tanith* ...So every time I start to give him the benefit of the doubt something happens that convinces me of his arrogance, his self-importance, and his need to interfere in the lives of everyone around him!
Tanith: Maybe there is an explanation for everything?
Paige: Tanith..
Tanith: Wait...here he comes. Try to stay calm.
Paige: Ugh, why is he coming over her?
*Sebastian enters*
Sebastian: I am sorry to bother you, Miss Paige, but can I have a word with you?
Paige: Uh...
Tanith: I'll leave you two alone.
Paige: Tanith...
Tanith: Bye! *quickly leaves*
Paige: *under her breath* Thanks a lot, Tanith.
Sebastian: Pardon?
Paige: Nothing. *waits to find out what Sebastian wants*
Sebastian: I...I... *is obviously agitated*
Paige: Do you have a question about butterfly communication?
Sebastian: No.
Paige: Is it about Pixie?
Sebastian: No.
Paige: *impatient* Then what is it?
Sebastian: I...I have to tell you...I'm falling in love with you.
*On the outside Paige appears passively calm and says nothing, on the inside she is shocked beyond belief*
Sebastian: I've tried to deny it. I've tried to ignore it. I've even tried to prevent my feelings because you are a fairy but I love you and it was pure torture for me to go any longer without telling you.
Paige: I'm a fairy...what is that supposed to mean?
Sebastian: Fairies are known for being creatures full of mischief and deceit. In my kingdom they are the natural enemies of just about everyone.
Paige: *anger rising* I see, fairies are mischievous. Is that anything like pirates being untrustworthy?
Sebastian: Excuse me?
Paige: Oh, you have forgotten how poorly you treated my friend simply because she used to be a pirate. Well, I did not forget.
Sebastian: *no response*
Paige: I don't love you. I don't even like you.
Sebastian: May I ask in what way I have offended you? I apologize if my observations on fairies upset you. I was only attempting to be as honest as possible about my feelings.
Paige: It's not just that, it's what you said to Rayna as well. It was very judgmental. You have a bad habit of judging others too quickly based on a first impression. You don't even give anyone a chance!
Sebastian: Yes, ma'am. It would appear I am not the only one here who does that.
Paige: *conveniently ignores Sebastian's last comment* And then there's what you did to Alex!
Sebastian: *becoming irritated* He has forgiven me, I do not understand why you cannot!
Paige: It helps me to figure out what to think of you as a person. And to top it off, there's your interference with Madison and Alex.
Sebastian: What? There is nothing to interfere with!
Paige: Maybe not, but I know you plan on keeping it that way. The very fact that you would stop possible happiness between two people is enough to convince me that I don't like you...and will never love you.
Sebastian: *crushed*
Paige: Please go away.
Sebastian: As you wish. *leaves*
Paige: Well...I told him...
Sebastian: My heart...it's breaking...
