Toby: I'm sorry about Rayna.
Alex: I don't know what happened.
Shelby: Sometimes these things just happen. I'm sorry, too.
Alex: I just really want to have a girlfriend...but it never lasts!
Shelby: Aw...you have a lot to offer, don't be so down.
Toby: Shelby is right, but just make sure it's the right girl for you. Then it will last. You just have to keep trying, that's all.
Alex: It's just so hard...
Shelby: It is hard. But nothing worth having is easy to get. Don't give up!
Toby: Yeah, it'll be okay. Maybe you should think about who you want to ask out next. Have any ideas?
Alex: Dude, I haven't even thought about that yet.
Shelby: Well, maybe you should.
Elsewhere...
Tanith: Are you still upset about Sebastian?
Paige: Puh, yes! I can't stand that guy. I would try not to think about him but I already said I would try to teach him how to talk to animals. I wish I could think of an excuse to get out of it.
Tanith: You never know, you might like him more if you got to know him better.
Paige: I don't want to know him better.
*Sebastian enters*
Sebastian: Please forgive my intrusion, Miss Paige, but I was wondering if you might have the time during the next week to show me the animal magic. Perhaps we can set a convenient day?
Paige: Oh...yes...I need to find a good butterfly first. Uh, how about tomorrow?
Sebastian: Thank you, yes. I look forward to it. Will you do me the honor of introducing me to your friend?
Paige: Oh, sorry, yes...this is Tanith. Tanith, this is Sebastian.
Sebastian: It is very nice to meet you.
Tanith: Likewise.
Sebastian: I will not bother you any further. Until tomorrow, Miss Paige. *he leaves*
Paige: Ugh.
Tanith: Well, he's not what I expected. I thought he was nice and very...polite.
Paige: Tanith!
Meanwhile...
Madison: I feel like a terrible person.
Sabrina: You? No way.
Madison: I am.
Sabrina: Okay, tell me what's on your mind.
Madison: I feel terrible that Alex and Rayna broke up. Yet at the same time I can't stop myself from hoping that maybe he'll ask me out again now.
Sabrina: Alex...you mean turtleboy?
Madison: Sabrina!
Sabrina: *laughs*
Madison: *sigh* You're no help.
Sabrina: Okay, okay...I'll try. Um, do you really think you are ready for romance again?
Madison: I feel more ready to move on now that I've faced my past a little better.
Sabrina: Don't you think it's strange that you like someone who looks so much like Damien?
Madison: Alex can't help the way he looks. He's nothing like Damien.
Sabrina: Do you think Alex likes you?
Madison: I really don't know.
Sabrina: Here's what I think...for whatever it's worth...you are still feeling the pain of your last relationship. Alex is just ending a relationship. I'm not saying it can't work, I just think you need to be really slow about whatever you do and be careful. The risk for one of both of you to get hurt is really high.
Madison: I know...he may not even ask me out again so it may not matter.
Sabrina: Well, we'll see I guess.
