Paige: So, Alex, I hear you've been busy?
Alex: Busy?
Paige: Hunting.
Alex (to Toby): Thanks a lot, dude!
Toby: *laughs* Sorry, I couldn't help it! But you're the one who called it hunting.
Alex: *grumble*
Paige: So, you took out Phoenix and Annike. How did it go?
Alex: It was fun...but...
Paige: But?
Alex: There was no connection with either of them. I mean, there was a friendly connection, I enjoyed their company, but nothing more.
Paige: That's a good place to start.
Alex: Yeah, I guess, but I'm looking for a bit more than just a friend.
Paige: Don't get discouraged.
Alex: Hey, Paige...would you like to go out sometime? I know a place with a neat butterfly garden we could take a walk in, I bet you would love it!
Paige: Oh...Alex, you are very sweet, but I think you are a bit young for me.
Alex: Oh... *laughs* Yeah, I guess it is kind of funny for me to ask out a possible immortal. I must look like a dope now.
Paige: Not at all, I'm rather flattered actually
Alex: Madison turned me down, too...
Shelby: Aw, don't feel bad about that, she just has...issues right now.
Alex: What are those issues exactly, if you don't mind me asking?
Shelby: I'm not sure, but I think she was jilted...badly. I get the feeling she still has scars from some previous relationship. Of course, I could be completely wrong, I'm really just guessing.
Alex: Well, that would explain it anyway.
Paige: What are you going to do now, Alex?
Alex: *sigh* I don't know, there's no one else to ask out.
Paige (surprised): No one?
Toby (to Shelby): And he thinks I'm clueless.
Shelby: *giggle*
Ales: What?
Paige: What about Rayna, Alex, RAYNA!
Alex: Rayna?
Paige: YES! You know, that sweet little ex-pirate girl who gave you your beloved iguana out of the goodness of her heart?
Toby: The same girl who helped me and Shelby get together?
Alex: Okay, okay, I get it!
Paige: So, what's the problem?
Alex: I didn't think of her...I mean, I did, I just...didn't think...that she was interested...(ends lamely)
Paige: Alex, Alex, Alex...what are we going to do with you?
