Pullip Dolls

Here is a special page dedicated to my collection of Pullip dolls. Pullip dolls are fantastic because they have very expressive faces, their bodies are fully articulated, and their eyes can move back and forth (and wink and blink). Since I'm a sucker for cute things and the dolls are great to practice photography with, it was inevitable that I would be drawn to something like this. Owned

Annike (style "Greggia")--pronounced "ah-ni-cah" (formal), or "ah-neek" (casual/nickname)
Arrived: October 22, 2005
Features: Brownish/reddish hair, blue eyes, ram costume, little sheep "Mee Chan", red clogs, knitting needles and yarn
Customizations: Rewigged with a brown wig in similar color to her original wig, but straight and with no bangs

Madison (style "Fourrure")
Arrived: November 10, 2005
Features: Blonde hair, dark brown eyes, dark lips, jewels under left eye, pink bustier, black skirt, lacy stockings, earrings, sunglasses, painted finger/toe nails, fur jacket, scarf, and fuzzy purse
Customizations: Rewigged with a short curly wig in bleach blonde

Shelby (style "Assa")
Arrived: January 18, 2006
Features: Originally with brown hair in dreadlocks and grey eyes. I actually bought her second hand so she was missing most of her stock clothes, but she did come with a rainbow headband, converse sneakers, and orange tank top/shorts underclothes
Customizations: She has been rewigged with a long, light red, slightly wavy wig that is parted on the side with no bangs

Rayna (style "Rovam")--my daughter has given her the nickname "Rain"
Arrived: February 6, 2006
Features: Dark blond hair with sparkly brown eyes and dressed like a pirate. She also come with a telescope, a treasure chest, and a pirate bag.
Customizations: Full face repaint, added extra eyelashes, rewigged with Nina's stock wig (another Pullip's original wig)

Paige (style "Arietta")
Arrived: May 24, 2006
Features: Bright yellow hair, blue eyes, denim overalls, letterman jacket, pink bag
Customizations: Rewigged with a long pink wig that is straight but curly at the ends. I also changed out her eyelashes for new ones to give her a slightly softer look

Toby (style "MJ")
Arrived: June 3, 2006
Features: I bought him nude, he has light grey/green eyes and originally came with a wig that was black with white highlights
Customizations: Rewigged with a new blond fur wig, I think the lighter color suits his face and skin tone better than black

Alex (style "Filato")
Arrived: July 3, 2006
Features: He actually arrived in wedding attire, but I never photographed him in it because I never intended on keeping it (I, in fact, sold it immediately). He has jet black hair, bright green eyes, and very pale skin

Roxanne (style "Eternia")
Arrived: July 3, 2006
Features: She also came in wedding clothes, along with Alex, but I also didn't intend to keep them, so no photos of that. She has black curly hair, and bright green eyes, but is not as pale as Alex
Customizations: Rewigged with a long, dark red, straight wig with long bangs in the front

Wolfgang (style "Wolf")
Arrived: August 25, 2006
Features: He came in a Wolf suit complete with a wolf head. He also had a pink nightgown and matching cap (for when he ate grandma, I suppose) and white boxer shorts under his wolf outfit. He also features greyish white hair and very green eyes. For Wolfgang I added a pair of round glasses but those were not included with him originally
Customizations: He came with two left hands so they have been replaced with hands from another doll called Sage

Jonas (style "Sage")
Arrived: November 6, 2006
Features: Brown hair and brown eyes wearing a British type of school uniform with a white shirt, tie, slacks, shoes, and blazer jacket. He also came with a duffle bag and cell phone

Sabrina (style "Fanatica")
Arrived: December 1, 2006
Features: Black hair, very dark brown eyes (almost black) with lots of pretty black and brown eyelashes. She was also dressed in black and red gothic clothing and came with a "Hell Doll"

Sebastian (style "Cavalie")
Arrived: January 5, 2007
Features: Very long blond hair pulled into a ponytail, purple eyes, dressed as what I would describe as a Musketeer with a neck ruffle and a very fancy shirt, pants and coat set. He also has black boots, a blue sword, and a large black hat with a tall feather and some chains hanging on it

Crispin (style "Happy Birthday Namu 1")
Arrived: January 11, 2007
Features: He came packaged in a big box with a Pullip as well, a special release gift set. He is dressed for a masquerade ball in a fancy outfit with a satin white shirt, a golden jacket with beads, matching short pants, and cowboy boots (heh, don't ask, but they are cool). He has grey hair and grey eyes and also came with a masquerade ball mask

Grace (style "Afternoon")

Features: I made two purchases to get her complete, so she wasn't new in box, but I have everything she came with. She has dark black/grey eyes, gray hair, blue eye shadow, and purple lips. Her clothing/accessories include a purple dress with white polka dots, matching scarf, white coat, lace gloves and socks, purple shoes with white polks dots, a suitcase, a puppy, and sunglasses

Features: Pink fluffy mohair wig that is really soft, purple eyes with wide pupils (giving her an inquistive look), I also managed to get her partial stock which includes clothes in a variety of colors, a yellow bag, and pink shoes

Features: Grey and white fur wig (that sticks out everywhere, I might add), sparkly yellow/golden eyes, dress in black shirt with belts and chains all over, leather-ish pants, silver and black shoes, black visor, and goggles

Features: Originally with Magenta colored hair, dark brown sparkly eyes, and dressed in rocker style with stonewashed jeans, pink sleeveless t-shirt, striped long sleeved shirt, pink jacket, and brown lace up boots. He also has a guitar case and a skull necklace
Customizations: Rewigged with a purplish fur wig

Features: Long blonde hair and bright green eyes with colorful (but subtle) eye make-up. She came dressed in dotted pajamas, yellow socks, dino suit, and dino slippers. She also has a mug with her name on it, a yellow pillow, mini dino plushie, and popup book

Features: Grey wavy hair pulled into a ponytail, green eyes, dressed in a white ruffled shirt, black vest, black coat with tails, grey pants, and black shoes. He also came with a tray, pen, and paper
Customizations: I only removed his wig and repositioned the part more to the side (this hardly counts as a customization, but it is a very minor change)

Zander (style "MJ")
Arrived: September 4, 2007
Features: He originally came with greyish eyes and black hair with white streaks
Customizations: I removed his original wig and gave him a new wig with short carrot red hair. I removed his original eye chips and replaced them with blue Blythe chips and blue foil behind to give them an extra blue look. I also added some extra eyelashes and gave him a smattering of freckles across his nose and cheeks

Kiki (style "Hello Kitty")
Arrived: October 22, 2007
Features: She is a collaboration Pullip with Sanrio made in Hello Kitty style. She has a pink skirt/shirt combo with white/pink striped socks. She also has fluffy slippers, white kitty mittens, a fluffy white shall, and a plush Hello Kitty hat. She has blond hair with curls and reddish/brown eyes
Customizations: Rewigged with a long, straight, blond wig

Nicholai (style "Happy Birthday Namu 2/Geronimo")
Arrived: November 9, 2007
Features: He orginanally came in a set with a Pullip doll both dressed in elaborate Native American dress. I bought my doll nude, though, and without his counterpart. He has blue eyes and long black hair that is very straight and with a single braid along one side

Features: She has green hair, green eyes, and pink lips painted in an open mouth style. She came with too many pieces of clothing and accessories to list

Features: Calfy is actually a mini Pullip, the first one I have purchased. She is dressed in a cow custome and has short brown hair and brown eyes

Features: He orginally came with a white wig plus he has bright blue eyes with gold glitter. He came dressed in some sort of priest outfit with a robe, cloak, and staff. Under his preist clothing he wears a black sleeveless shirt, black pants, black boots, and a cross necklace
Customizations: Rewigged witha fur wig in brown with a black streak in the back

Phoenix (style "Cornice")
Date Owned: April 7-October 25 (approximately), 2006
Features: Bright redish wavy hair, blue/green eyes, lots of earrings in both ears, black lacy lotita style clothes, black hat, and a black felicita bunny.

Tanith (style "Arietta")
Date Owned: October 13, 2006-June 1, 2007
Features: She came in the exact same form as Paige (see her features description) but she did not stay that way for long since I almost immediately took her apart and customized her
Customizations: Her wig has been replaced with a long golden blonde wig that originally came from a Pullip called Craziia. I replaced her eyelashes with longer ones. I replaced her original eyes with acrylic eyes that are more lifelike. I changed her lip color from bright pink to a paler peachy color and added extra blush and eyeshadow to what she already had
